  TWA flight 800....a cover up conspiracy I happen to believe...

  the official ruling that it was faulty wiring in a fuel pump that caused a boeing 747, 11 mins after take-off, to explode never seemed credible.

  that, plus eye witness accounts of a streak of light going up, towards the plane, were explained away with the most contorted reasoning.. the plane's altitude had not exceeded the range of a shoulder fired, "stinger" missile which could easily have been fired from a boat.

  other theories are that it was a us navy missile.

  Airlines were forced to make stupid modifications like nitrogen generating systems to displace oxygen in the fuel tanks... totally unecessary and ridiculous... all done to give the TWA 800 investigation credibility...

  You can throw matches in a trash can filled with Jet fuel all day long... it won't explode... Jet A fuel only ignites when it is atomized, meaning you have to force it through a nozzle and create a spray pattern...

  So, i too agree that the Center Fuel Tank did not explode on it's own....

  i know an elder who's a chiropractor and he generously gives $400-800 a month to the society.

  Why do animals grow old and die?...

  so what is a jw's explanation on why animals grow old and die?.....

  last time i checked, animals did not sin nor did they rebel against god.... so why do they have the same fate as humans?.

  has anyone asked this question?.

  i thought i would share some of my observations on counting field service time, reports, etc.

  and how those reports are viewed, to those that are still so fixated on numbers.. i served as secretary on the service committee for many years, and have seen it all!.

  i was really disheartened when wt changed the requirement for aux pioneering to allow for 30 hrs, instead of the 50 it has been for so long.

  i mean, it's so utterly ****ed up, it's unbelievable.. just think about the nitty gritty of it:.

  people that they love & care for who don't share their religion deserve to be killed, left without a grave & eaten by wild animals.

  one day, this will happen & they'll be surrounded by billion upon billion of decaying, rotting corpses.

  However, I should point out that the reason this is done is because parents will tend to help their children put their masks on first before putting on their own. It's natural parental instinct. However, if they do that, they stand a good chance of sufficating before being able to completely help all of their children. Since children can generally go a liitle longer without sufficient oxygen than adults, the advice is given to "put your mask on first before helping others around you".

  i purchased a condo late last year and due to my personal schedule, i wasn't able to redo it to my preferance until a few months ago.

  all the heavy work is done.

  now just replacing electrical outlets, fixtures and such.

  Self-made Persecution?

  at the recent dc, we had the 1 hour drama on sunday that focused on trusting in jehovah, no matter what events come up.

  in the opening scene, we see a father watching a news broadcast on tv, and he learns that jw's have been banned, overnight.. this got me thinking, again.

  almost weekly, we hear about persecution coming, soon soon soon!

  Yes... that construction project in Warwick is pretty big, but no where near the $1.6 Billion in pure profit that they'll get with the Brooklyn sell-off...

  I do agree that the WT does like to set itself up for persecution from time to time just to forcibly fulfill prophecy...

  This creates a persecution complex that trickles down to the rank-and-file... just go on YouTube on you'll see what I mean. If anyone makes any non-theocratic comments on any videos posted by JWs, there's usually a response from a Dub saying: "We love this persecution. It was foretold in the Bible that we would be the subject of hatred"...

  The witnesses read and study all the Watchtower magazine, not just parts of it, like some professed Christians who limit their Bible reading to the last one fourth of the Bible and brush aside as outdated the first three fourths of it.
